If the launch post isn't compelling, don't build it
GrokBot's internal strategy rejects the traditional software tendency to add new buttons, dropdowns, or integrations as primary goals. The team now prioritizes launching only features that generate compelling user narratives rather than adding unnecessary pixels to the interface. Many capabilities previously considered for direct user control are being moved behind the scenes to operate automatically without visual controls. This approach shifts the focus from feature accumulation to delivering value through invisible, high-impact bot manipulations.
The Steam Video you have been waiting for….
Valve's Steam Machine suffers from thermal throttling due to a lack of user-adjustable fan curves, prompting a team to install a functional steam engine for cooling. The project utilized a 3D-printed fan and a single-cylinder steam engine rated at 0.015 horsepower to replace the stock cooling system. Testing revealed that the modification reduced GPU temperatures from 85 degrees to 81 degrees and CPU temperatures from 83 degrees to 61 degrees. While the setup achieved a 10-degree drop in thermal output, the team noted the system is significantly louder and more expensive than the original design.
